Squares for Japan

Just a quick post today to let you know about Hawthorn at 11am (who I found through Andrea at Apples and Pears).  Hawthorn is collecting granny squares and will be sewing up blankets to send to Japan's disaster victims.  Thank you, Hawthorn, for coordinating this thoughtful effort.

I'm almost ready to send my squares...

Have a good day :-)

  1. Very nice, Josie! I still need to make mine for Sarah London and the Australian flood victims project she has going. This one would be a good one to contribute to also.

What pattern did you use for those little red hearts in your sidebar? It's different than the one I have been using. I like those and would like to try that pattern. PammySue8@gmail.com

  4. Hi Josie, thanks for popping by my blog and for your message - this is a great idea and thanks for sharing the link. I am trying to teach myself how to crochet granny squares so maybe this can be an incentive! I love your blog, full of lovely things and pictures... Enjoy the rest of your weekend! Sarah x
