What a cheerful summer bouquet. Love that little crocheted jacket for the jar. I've been working up some of those for cans. Our summer temps arrived months ago and will stay with us through the end of the year. Too hot for outdoor activities around here. :/ Enjoy your start to summer. Best wishes, Tammy
My favorite time of year! Some of the hottest days are tough, as I don't own an air conditioner, but I love spending more time with the kids, picnics, walking the dog, lounging by the pool or at the lake, watermelon, and corn on the cob!... Hope you're enjoying your first days of summer too! Love the jar cover you made to hold your flowers!! ~tina
Hi! Cute jar cozy and lovely Gerbera's. MMMmmm summer fruits. Hope you have a terrific summer and the bugs leave you alone! If not, you can try Burt's Bees natural repellant with essential oils instead of poisons, that stuff works for me. Oh and good ol' citronella candles, too.
I'm jealous on 2 counts! I love the flower jar, but in the UK it was mid-summers day yesterday and it rained (poured) for most of the day! Spare a thought for us soggy Brits enjoying our 'summer'....Hey ho...your blog cheers me up everytime I visit :)x
Like the flowers and the jar did you make the cover? All but one of my kids are still in school. And we have had some heat and SUN for 2 days now... I shouldn't say that too loud it will disappear :)
Hi Josie, the flowers are so cheerful. We call it "African Sunflower". You're really into summer now. Thanks for your sweet comment of my blog of cows on the island. Do visit HK some day. Nice that the little purse safely in your hands. I still have problems in posting comments. Only "Anonymous" works. You know it's me Terrie ~.~ www.terriekwong.blogspot.com
