7174 Miles / 11,546 Km

That's how far this little package traveled.  Over the big blue Pacific Ocean from Terrie in Hong Kong to my humble abode in California.  Terrie had a giveaway and it was my lucky day!  I won this lovely little Nuno felt bag that she made.  Once you peruse Terrie's blog, you'll see that she's a very crafty lady, who at the moment is crazy about Nuno felting.

Everything about this bag is handmade, including the flowers.

Thanks, Terrie, for such a sweet handmade gift!

Back soon with some crochet and knitted things in progress.  In the meantime, hope you're all enjoying summer :-)

  2. Thank you Josie. It's me Terrie. Nice that you love it. Happy crocheting and enjoy summer.
I still have problems on comment posting. Can't do "uncheck". Only "Anonymous" works.

  4. Hi Josie, so glad you won the bag, it's so cute! In response to your dislike of birds of paradise plants, I agree! They have been in pots for so long and instead of buying new plants for the garden we will be leaving soon, I decided to plant them. I know whomever buys the place is going to do MAJOR renos to the place and so I'm just trying to make it look nice on a very tight budget! I like the flowers but they do get nasty big so I think unless I had a huge property I'd only have 'em in pots. I have so many potted plants and I can't take 'em all with me (I don't think anyway) so might as well use some of 'em. Hope you are enjoying your summer, too. Hugs!

  6. What a great gift! I was to take a felted class here but had to knit first and I don't knit, I crochet. I still have the wool I bought for the project, so I should probably try some felting on my own. There's a never ending list of things I want to try (some wind up being successful, some not). :/ Have a great week and thanks for stopping by my corner of the world. Tammy
